Goldman Sachs, the global investment banking and securities firm, is hosting a conference to introduce India's leading software companies to the international investment community on April 15 and 16 in Hyderabad. Over 20 software companies will participate in the event. These include all the market leaders and new entrants with proven potential. They are to use the platform to present their business plans to international investors.
This is the largest investment pool ever exposed to the Indian software industry. The conference, to be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, will be the largest of its kind held in India and the only one devoted exclusively to software. Internationally renowned software professionals will attend the conference. Their presence should reassert India's growing prowess in the global software market. Goldman Sachs is one of the world's leading investment banks. Founded in New York in 1869, the firm has become a global business with regional headquarters in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong and a network of 41 offices in 23 countries.
