NIIT wins $10 million software job

NIIT Limited, the IT services company, has bagged a prestigious $10 million plus software order from an US-based technology training company.

The order for building educational multimedia titles for the National Education Technology Group is the single largest educational multimedia order awarded to an Indian software company.

For NIIT, which has made notable progress in the creation of educational multimedia intellectual property in the last few years, the order signals its emergence as a leading creator of educational multimedia for the global markets.

NIIT has been developing educational multimedia products for NETG for the last several years. This repeat order is the biggest order to be awarded by NETG to NIIT.

In addition, NIIT also creates its own intellectual property in the form of CD-ROM-based educational multimedia titles.
