Restructured IVCOL to be a biotech company

The Union Cabinet has approved structural re- organisation of Indian Vaccines Corporation Limited with a view to bring about optimum utilisation of assets created under the project and establish a National Brain Research Centre.

Consequent upon structural reorganisation of the company, it will be renamed as Biotechnology Research and Development Company.

The restructuring aims to set up a biotechnology park and provide for projects for research and application to benefit scientists and the society.
