Video: A preview of Rina Dhaka & Ranna Gill's eye-catching collection

Drawing inspiration from nature and science, fashion designers Rina Dhaka and Ranna Gill showcased an exclusive collection on March 13, titled 'Nature Meets Science' for the upcoming autumn/winter season.

Both the designers worked around the themes of science and nature to come up with an innovative and eye-catching collection.

Making use of new printing techniques and huge motifs and fabric texturing Dhaka's collection was a mixture of innovation, technology along with history and science to make something completely new.

"I've used a lot of technology whether its form of printing, applique or crinkled tie and dye. All these are the simple techniques," said Dhaka.

Gill's collection saw the season turn and summer fading to a glow. Rich vibrant colours of fall, she created a collection in hues that exuded jewel tones with a touch of stunning black.

The show was a preview for the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India fashion Week that will kick start from March 18 at New Delhi.
