Rajesh Talwar, accused in the Noida twin murder case involving his daughter Aarushi, was on Wednesday subjected to polygraph test by the Central Bureau of India which has formed 10 different teams to look into various aspects of the probe.
The CBI, which took over the investigations of the case on June 1, said the agency carried out the lie detector test on Talwar after his consent. Coming out with a statement for the first time after it took over the probe into the sensational double murders, the CBI said the agency had picked up blood samples which were 'still' present at the scene of crime. Besides the blood samples, the CBI also picked up suspected finger prints, palm prints and a blood-soaked blanket found on the body of Aarushi and some more clothes with bloodstains on them.
CBI Director Vijay Shanker along with his officials and forensic experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Forensic laboratory reviewed the case during which the scene of crime, available forensic evidence were discussed and an analysis of postmortem report was done.
