Will the UPA survive? The D-day is on July 22

Will the United Progressive Alliance survive? Can the Congress take the N-deal forward? The answer will be known on July 22 when the much-anticipated trust vote will be held.

On the trial of strength, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi said, "We shall prove our majority."

Sonia said it was time for the UPA "to look ahead" after the Left's exit and praised Samajwadi Party for supporting the coalition.

"I have no doubt that we shall prove our majority," she said in her opening remarks at a meeting of the UPA Coordination Committee where Prime Minister Manmohan Singh explained the developments related to the nuclear deal.
