Family gets ransom letter 8 months after boy's kidnap April 21, 2008 15:39 IST The boy's father, Yogendra Pandey, said he found the ransom letter demanding Rs 10 lakh stuck to the main door of his residence in Patna on Sunday. The receipt of the letter was confirmed by city superintendent of police Anwar Hussain. "The letter claimed that Akash was safe and was in the custody of kidnappers. I have secured a copy of the letter as senior superintendent of police Amit Kumar asked me to inquire into its authenticity," he said.
