The Delhi police are taking no chances with security for the Olympic torch, which is being kept at the Le Meridian hotel.

"We are keeping our fingers crossed and we are not sharing information with the media. You can see things for yourself and arrive at your own conclusion," said Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajan Bhagat.

Sources in intelligence agencies revealed that security has been beefed up after Tibetans tried to storm the Chinese Embassy yet again on Wednesday. On Wednesday night, Tibetans held noisy demonstrations outside the hotel after the Olympic torch had arrived.
