Assam: ULFA militant killed, 8 hurt in blasts K Anurag in Guwahati | March 15, 2007 20:33 IST A United Liberation Front of Assam militant was killed and eight civilians injured in two separate bomb explosions in Assam on Thursday. An ULFA militant was killed at Sonari in Sivasagar district of the state on Thursday morning when the bomb he was carrying exploded accidently. Four other civilian passers by were injured in the blast that occurred about 800 metre away from Sonari police station. The ULFA militant was carrying the bomb in the pocket of his jacket. At least four persons were injured in another bomb explosion that occurred at Moranhat in Dibrugarh district later in the evening.
