ULFA threatens to blow up NE channel Onkar Singh in New Delhi | February 03, 2007 11:26 IST Last Updated: February 03, 2007 12:55 IST He charged the Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi in failing to do perform his constitutional duty of protecting the citizens from terrorist threats. "He has not sent even a constable for protection. We have written letters to the relevant authorities and drawn their attention towards the threat by ULFA," he said. "The threat from ULFA proves our allegation of links between Gogoi and the militants. We are not withdrawing our allegations," Matang Singh whose NE channel runs 24 hours news and one Hi Fi channel for entertainment besides four FM channels. The Bangla version of the NE channel would be launched shortly. Congress president Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh attend the games on different dates. "But we would continue to expose his links with terrorists," a defiant Singh said. He admitted that he has been expelled from the Congress party but claimed that he was not making the allegations against Gogoi to give voice to his pent up feelings. "I am not in Congress but I have not joined another party," Singh said.
