ULFA kidnaps Oil India engineer May 20, 2006 00:50 IST United Liberation Front of Asom militants kidnapped an Oil India Limited engineer from Upper Assam's Tinsukia district on Friday night, official sources said in Guwahati. Drilling engineer K N Rao, was on his way from Duliajan to Barakuri to attend night shift when ultras intercepted his car at about 9 pm and abducted him, the sources said. His driver was let-off by the abductors. Senior police and OIL officials have rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to rescue the engineer.
