BJP withdraws agitation in Bangalore September 06, 2004 15:02 IST The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday announced withdrawal of its agitation at Bangalore following a Hubli court's order to the Karnataka government to withdraw the case against former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti. However, the party's September 8 rally would be held as announced earlier but will now be a 'victory rally', BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters in Chennai. Naidu said the court judgment was a 'great slap' to the Karnataka government and the Congress party.
