All-India Minority Forum members Saturday held an all-faith prayer meeting in Kolkata, for the well-being of three Indians, kidnapped in Iraq, and prayed for their early release.

The meeting was held at the Santkutia gurudwara, with Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Buddhists praying for the early release of the truck drivers being held captive since early this week.

The Holders of the Black Banners released videos on Wednesday and Thursday, and said it was holding the three Indians, three Kenyans and an Egyptian hostage.

It threatened to behead one hostage every 72 hours if their Kuwaiti employer did not cease business in Iraq and the hostages' countries did not withdraw their citizens from Iraq.
