Attack on Chandrababu: Six detained October 02, 2003 18:19 IST The Andhra Pradesh Police on Thursday picked up six civil rights activists from the Tirupati for questioning in connection with the landmine attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and four others. Three activists belong to the Andhra Pradesh Civil Liberties Committee. They included the outfit's Chittoor district president Hari Prasad. Two other detained activists belong to the Rayalaseema Praja Samithi, while one is a sympathiser of the APCLC. The police alleged the detained civil rights activists had links with the outlawed People's War group, suspected to be behind Wednesday's attack.
