Grenade attack in Shopian, 2 killed Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar | June 23, 2003 13:26 IST Two civilians -- Nazir Ahmad Bhat and Abdul Rashid Nengroo -- were killed and 38 wounded when a militant hurled a grenade near the main bus stand at Shopian in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday afternoon. Six of the seriously injured were taken to Srinagar for treatment. Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed had visited Shopian on Sunday. No group has admitted responsibility for the attack.
