A London-based magazine, Al-Majalla, on Friday claimed that Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden intends it to be a 'back-breaking attack'. The claim is based on an e-mail it received from a little-known member of the outfit headed by bin laden.

The US is already in a heightened state of alert amidst fears that terrorists may strike during the festive season of Christmas or New Year. On December 24, Air France cancelled three flights out of Paris to Los Angeles citing warnings of terror attacks.
