'I dream of an India where there are no poor or hungry people'

Every day, when I go to school by bus, I see lots of poor people and beggars on the streets. I feel very sad to see those sick and hungry.

I have seen in movies that there are a lot of thieves and terrorists in India. When I grow up, I want to be a policeman and protect the poor and hungry from thieves and terrorists, like (Tamil actor) Vikram does in films.

I will also buy food for all the hungry.

I love painting India, and the national flag. I find the outline of India and the colours of the national flag very attractive. I love to paint flowers too.

I dream of an India where there are no poor or hungry people. Everybody should be smiling and happy.

My dream is to fly in a helicopter. I would also love to have a small toy car which I can drive around!

As told to Shobha Warrier
