P Ramulu, an unmarried youth hailing from Digpahandi village of Orissa, was arrested on Thursday on charges of cannibalism, police said on Friday
Ramulu's sister Damayanti caught him while he was eating the flesh of his four-month-old niece at home, the officer-in-charge of the Digpahandi police station, Srinibas Padhi, told rediff.com
The police seized a knife, some burnt firewood in which was the body was torched, and the remains of the body.
Six-month back Ramulu was arrested for stabbing a minor boy, he said.
