No talks with India unless Kashmir
is on agenda: Musharraf

Pakistan's military ruler General Pervez Musharraf has ruled out any talks with India unless the Jammu and Kashmir issue was on the agenda and asserted that resolution of the dispute was necessary for the improvement in Indo-Pak relations.

"There can be no talks with India unless Kashmir is on the agenda," Musharraf, on a tour to three Arab nations, said in Jordanian capital, Amman, on Monday, according to a media report in Islamabad.

Asserting that peace process between New Delhi and Islamabad would begin only if India demonstrated its 'sincerity', he told a gathering of the Pakistani community that 'settlement of the Kashmir issue is necessary for the improvement' of Indo-Pak relations, the reports said.
