Gopal likely to reach hideout on Sunday morning

E-Mail this report to a friend

Journalist emissary R R Gopal was likely to reach the hideout of forest brigand Veerappan in the jungles either late on Saturday night or Sunday morning, Nakkeeran sources said.

Gopal, editor of Tamil bi-weekly Nakkeeran, had received the green signal from Veerappan's men to proceed deep into the jungles and reach the location where the outlaw was holding Kannada filmstar Dr Rajakumar and three others hostage.

Gopal is on his second mission to the jungle in a bid to secure the release of the hostages.
