JD puts up 10 candidates in TN

The Janata Dal's Tamil Nadu unit president G A Vadivelu will contest the Lok Sabha poll in the state from Krishnagiri.

The Dal had decided to contest 10 seats in the states after it was not allotted any seat by the DMK-TMC combine.

Following are the other candidates, announced by Vadivelu: D Mano Thangaraj (Nagercoil), C Balaraman (Chengalpattu), P Viswanatha Kakkan (Sriperumbudur), P Ayyakannu (Tiruchirapalli), K Balasubramaniam (Chennai Central), Kasupatti Ponnuswamy (Coimbatore), M K Raveendran Charles (Tiruchendur) and Dr Asokan (Cuddalore).
