There's a new doctor in the operating room and he goes by the name Adhir Kalyan.

The star of the American television sitcom Aliens in America will be seen on the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning medical drama Nip/Tuck in a recurring part.

According to Zap2it.com, the actor joins McNamara/Troy to help out Christian (Julian McMahon) in the wake of Sean's (Dylan Walsh) stabbing in the season finale.

Kalyan, a South African actor (he was born in the Indian community of South Africa) plays a foreign exchange student from Pakistan in Aliens in America.
