Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday advocated President's rule in Bihar.

With the LJP looking set to win a clutch of seats and both the Ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance failing to win a clear mandate, Paswan has emerged as a king-maker in Bihar.

Earlier in the day, RJD spokesman Sivanand Tiwari said his party would approach Paswan to seek support for forming the government.

Out of the 119 results out so far, LJP has won 10 seats. RJD had won 34 and NDA 52.

Paswan said the people of Bihar have rejected both the communal BJP and casteist RJD.

He added that the fact that the RJD played a major role in the defeat of his party candidates in the Lok Sabha elections last year was also a reason why he will not support Lalu Prasad Yadav's party.

Paswan said under the RJD, Bihar has plunged into total lawlessness.
