India's biggest loss ever

Australia beat India by 342 runs to win the third Test on the fourth day at Nagpur on Friday. The win gave the tourists an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the four-match series.

The defeat is India's biggest against all opponents in terms of runs.

In all India have now suffered 16 losses by 200 or more runs and surprisingly 9 of them have come in India.

Overall it is the 17th biggest defeat in Test cricket history. India's previous biggest defeat had also come at home soil by 329 runs against South Africa at Calcutta in 1996-97.
