The fitness test of India skipper Sourav Ganguly was postponed to Friday as team physio Andrew Leipus could not reach Kolkata on time.
Leipus was scheduled to reach the city on Thursday morning and expected to put Ganguly through the paces in the afternoon.
A senior official of the Board of Control for Cricket in India said Leipus will arrive in the evening and the test held on Friday.
Meanwhile, Ganguly came out for practice at the Eden Gardens with the rest of the Indian players and looked in good shape. He started with two laps around the ground and followed it up with light exercises.
Later, he had a long stint in the nets, showing no signs of any discomfort.
Ganguly, who opted to play in the four-day Ranji Trophy match for Bengal against Karnataka, which ended on Wednesday, had already declared his availability for the BCCI's 75th anniversary celebrations One-Day International against Pakistan on Saturday.
He did not play the last two Tests of the just-concluded four-Test home series against Australia due to a thigh injury.
